Best Earbuds Under 1500 in India

Published on:

For someone who has often been accused of having a weird taste in music, the earphones are a must for me wherever I go. And now that the wireless earbuds have become such commonplace products you don’t have to worry about putting up with the limitations that the wired earphones come with.

In this price range you can expect the earbuds to have good sound quality with average noise cancellation. The most earbuds that I tested had decent sound clarity while on calls but the ones on this list are definitely the best.

This article features 5 best earbuds under 1500, with the realme TechLife T100 earbuds grabbing the first spot.

In this competitive price segment, you can easily find many wireless earbuds with great audio quality, design, and build quality, but the extra features of these realme earbuds make them the best option available.

The case boasts a classy matte finish that feels good to hold and is easy to carry around. A Type-C charging port can be found at the bottom of the case, accompanied by a battery indicator light at the front. The lid of the case is where the build quality truly shines; it doesn’t open or close on its own. The magnets used in the case are robust, ensuring the earbuds won’t fall out unintentionally.

The buds are comfortable to wear, with additional ear tips provided in different sizes for minor adjustments. These earbuds can connect to your phone within seconds of opening the case, thanks to the Google Fast Pair support. The realme Link app elevates the user experience, allowing you to check the battery status of both the buds and the case, choose from three built-in equalizer modes, activate game mode, and customize touch gestures.

On a single charge, you can expect a playtime of 4-5 hours from the earbuds, with the case providing at least 3 charge cycles before running out. Additionally, fast charging ensures you get up to 2 hours of playtime within just 10 minutes. While gaming, I did experience some latency, but it didn’t significantly impact my gameplay. The audio separation between the left and right earbud is sufficient to discern the direction of sound during competitive gaming.

I found the 10mm drivers of these realme earbuds to be quite impressive, striking a perfect balance between loudness and sound clarity. Most users would prefer the Balanced mode, as it offers a good blend of bass and audio quality with minimal distortion.

Verdict

The realme TechLife T100 earbuds are an ideal choice if you are looking for the best earbuds under 1500 – definitely a decision you won’t regret!

boAt Airdopes 170 TWS

best earbuds under 1500
  • Sound driver size     13mm
  • Bluetooth version – 5.3
  • ANC available     Yes
  • Water resistance rating – IPX4

Though not able to one-up the realme TechLife T100, these boAt Airdopes are still a great choice that you might want to consider. The build quality of Airdopes 170 is as decent as it gets in this price range, but boAt’s signature sound quality is what makes these earbuds one of the best, if not the best, earbuds under 1500. The sound quality is pretty comparable to the realme TechLife T100, but the bass is slightly on the higher side if you consider the Airdopes. It is pretty good if extra bass is something that you are looking for in your new earbuds.

There’s no way you want to skip these Airdopes if you are a hardcore gamer trying to stick to a budget, as the latency in these earbuds is as low as 50ms, which is a huge upgrade from the realme TechLife T100. The Airdopes also offer a battery backup, with the earbuds lasting around 5-6 hours, and the case is able to provide 3-4 complete charges before running out. The fast charging support ensures that you don’t wait long to get back in action. While calling, I found the realme earbuds to be slightly better than the Airdopes at background noise cancellation.

Boult Z60

best earbuds under 1500
  • Sound driver size   13mm
  • Bluetooth version – 5.3
  • ANC available   No
  • Water resistance rating – IPX5

If you need both, low latency for gaming and good noise cancellation for calling, the Boult Z60 earbuds are made for you. When compared to boAt there is a slight compromise in terms of the sound quality, but the overall build quality and additional features make the Z60 a good option to consider.

The Boult Z60 earbuds support all the gestures that you could possibly need. From picking up and rejecting calls to adjusting volume and playing the next track in your playlist you can do everything without having to turn your phone on.

Overall, the Z60 earbuds have pretty much the same specifications and features as the Airdopes 170 but they seem more of a complete package rather than only focusing on sound quality, making them a great choice if it is something that you are looking for.

Truke Buds Pro

best earbuds under 1500
  • Sound driver size   12.4mm
  • Bluetooth version – 5.2
  • ANC available   Yes
  • Water resistance rating – IPX5

These truke earbuds were launched last year for the price range of INR 1700-2000, but right now you can grab them for well under 1500 rupees, which is an amazing deal considering all the great features that these earbuds pack.

For starters, the 30db ANC mode is very impressive in this price range. The ANC mode on these earbuds definitely doesn’t work as good as the ones that you can find in some expensive earbuds but still when you turn on this mode you can feel the background noise fade away, allowing you to focus on what you want to hear.

The stylish case has a plastic build with some leather finish on the sides and a digital display at the front for the battery levels of the case and the earbuds.

On a full charge you can expect a battery backup of 5-6 hours without the ANC mode and 4-5 hours with ANC mode turned on. The case can carry enough juice for at least 4-5 charge cycles.

The sound quality is satisfying and leaves little to desire but I did notice that vocals lacked some clarity while calling.

Noise Buds VS104 Max

best earbuds under 1500
  • Sound driver size   13mm
  • Bluetooth version – 5.3
  • ANC available   Yes
  • Water resistance rating – IPX5

Often priced higher than 1500, these Noise earbuds are my last pick for you which you can grab while sticking to your budget using festive-sales and offers.

Like every other pick on this list, these buds are one of the best in this price range and offer pretty much everything that you can reasonably expect from your new ear buds. From great build quality to impressive sound input these earbuds are absolutely delightful to use.

They also have 25db ANC which works just the way you might expect from earbuds in this price range i.e. good enough to get the work done but nothing mind blowing, but no complaints.

Conclusion

This is my list of best earbuds under 1500. Overall, it’s a good price range with some very good brands competing to get a hold of the market which basically means that us – the customers, get the best out of it. I had a tough time making this list because of all the good options, but I think I am pretty satisfied with the final rankings as I leave you with the promise that you can’t go wrong with any of the earbuds on this buying guide.
