A random guy on the internet once said:
There’s always a game to play, just keep looking!
So, you can always find a good game to play, even if you don’t have a great gaming setup. And you can begin with some of the games mentioned in this article on best games for 4gb ram pc. These games work great with a 4GB RAM setup, and to be honest, I played some of these games on a 2GB RAM PC.
You know a GPU is quite necessary for gaming and, if your system has one( 1-2GB VRAM is enough), then I am quite positive that you will have a fun time playing every game on this list.
But if your system lacks a GPU, you should try to play safe and stick with the games that I have mentioned for setups without a graphics card. And if you have a good CPU, you can go ahead to try the rest of the games.
Best games for 4gb ram pc (Without Graphics card)
Burnout: Paradise
System requirements
- OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows XP SP2/ Windows Vista/ Windows 7
- PROCESSOR: 2.8 GHz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent
- RAM: 1 GB
- Graphics Card: DirectX 9.0c Compatible 3D accelerated 128 MB Video card with Pixel Shader 3.0 or equivalent (NVIDIA GeForce 6600+ / ATI Radeon X1300+)
Burnout Paradise is one of the all-time best racing games. Paradise City is small but, it is full of cars to wreck, secrets to discover, and records to break. Wrecking cars is the best part of this game, the crashes might not be realistic, but they are definitely fun. And playing rough and ramming and destroying your opponents is important if you want to reach the finish line first (you have to reach the finish line first to clear an event, it’s either win or lose).
The game map is full of events to complete, and each event promotes a different gameplay style. During Road Rage, you have to wreck a particular number of cars while keeping yourself safe. If you are playing Marked Man, enemy cars chase and try to wreck your car and, you have to make it to a point on the map in one piece. And even if you try to have a simple race, the opponent cars keep ramming your car to slow you down or finish you off quickly.
Dishonored
System requirements
- OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows Vista / Windows 7.
- PROCESSOR: 3.0 GHz dual core or better.
- RAM: 4 GB
- Graphics Card: DirectX 9 compatible with 512 MB video RAM or better (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 / ATI Radeon HD 5850)
Dishonored is amazing. It has a great story and, its gameplay will make you play this game again and again.
Being Corvo Attano, a deadly assassin, you have to protect the city of Dunwall from traitors and a deadly plague. Your choices and actions affect the outcome of the story so, you can either be a mass-murdering psychopath or a hero who tries to make everything right.
The gameplay mechanics are quite deep and, you start enjoying the game more once you get an idea of how you are actually supposed to play it.
Gears Of War I
System requirements
- OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows Vista / Windows 7.
- PROCESSOR:2.4 GHz+ / AMD 2.0 GHz+
- RAM: 1 GB
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA Geforce 6600+ / ATI x700+
Gears of War has everything that you can expect from a generic third-person shooter. Being a badass, killing giant monsters, and saving the day, this game has everything. And even if you have played many games and watched countless movies centered around a similar idea, Gears of War does not fail to impress.
Intense story and gameplay keep you consistently engaged throughout the game’s campaign. And every once in a while, you will find yourself surrounded by many tough enemies or trying to beat an annoyingly hard bose.
Assassin’s Creed III
System requirements
- OPERATING SYSTEM:Windows Vista (SP2) / Windows 7 (SP1) / Windows 8
- PROCESSOR:2.66 GHz Intel Core2 Duo E6700 or 3.00 GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ or better recommended
- RAM: 2GB (4GB recommended)
- Graphics Card: N512MB DirectX 9.0c-compliant with Shader Model 4.0 or higher
Assassin’s Creed III hardly needs any introduction. Some consider this game to be the worst Assassin’s Creed and, for some say it’s the best, but nonetheless, it’s a great game that you should play if you haven’t already.
Set in colonial America, you relive the memories of Connor Kenway and, he has some serious family issues. The story is filled with many touching moments and, it wonderfully tries to represent the Assassin-Templar war as a part of America’s struggle for independence.
The Walking Dead
System requirements
- OPERATING SYSTEM:XP Service Pack 3.
- PROCESSOR:2.0 GHz Pentium 4 or equivalent.
- RAM: 3 GB
- Graphics Card: ATI or nvidia card with 512 MB RAM
One of Telltale’s best and most popular works, The Walking Dead is more than just a game. Great writing and art style make every character seem like a real living person. And by the end of the game, you get attached to these characters and, you start feeling a sense of responsibility for them because your actions decide their fate and the outcome of the story.
Brothers A Tale Of Two Sons
System requirements
- OPERATING SYSTEM:Windows XP SP3
- PROCESSOR:2.4 GHz Dual Core Processor
- RAM: 2 GB
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 /ATI Radeon HD 2600
Brothers The Tale of Two Sons is a masterpiece having a story as beautiful as its environment and visuals. Two Brothers embark on an adventure to find a cure for their father’s illness. Their path is full of dangers, but they must go on against all odds.
After playing this game, you will have a sense of satisfaction and emptiness at the same time. I know this doesn’t make any sense at all, but you will agree with me after playing the game.
X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE
System requirements
- OPERATING SYSTEM:Windows® 7 32/64-bit / Vista 32/64 / XP.
- PROCESSOR:Intel(R) Pentium (R) 4 3.0 GHz or Intel (R) Core (TM) 2 E6300 or AMD Athlon (TM) 64 3000+
- RAM:1 GB
- Graphics Card:DirectX(R) 9.0c-compliant 256 MB video card and drivers
X-Men Origins: Wolverine is one of the best superhero games. And it has to be because it got so many things right, and it actually gave the players a chance to be a fearless mutant.
The combat system is challenging, but still, it makes you feel like a total badass. From lunging on your enemies to ripping them apart, the gameplay is fun and keeps things interesting throughout the campaign.
The campaign is loosely based on the X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie and, it’s filled with many comic book references and easter eggs.
Passpartout: The Starving Artist
System requirements
- OPERATING SYSTEM:Windows 7 or later.
- PROCESSOR:Intel Core i3 or equivalent.
- RAM:1 GB
- Graphics Card:GeForce GTX 460 or Radeon HD 6850.
Passpartout is a fun little game where, as evident from the name, you play as a struggling artist. You make paintings to pay bills, survive, and establish yourself as a successful artist. The game uses a clever AI to judge your paintings and, it’s pretty good at its job.
You will hardly get anywhere without putting creativity and work into your paintings. So, take this game as a challenge if you consider yourself to be a good artist and, you should definitely play this game if you think that art isn’t one of your things because you never know if you have a hidden talent.
Left 4 Dead 2
System requirements
- OPERATING SYSTEM:Windows® 7 32/64-bit / Vista 32/64 / XP.
- PROCESSOR:Pentium 4 3.0GHz.
- RAM:2 GB
- Graphics Card: Video card with 128 MB, Shader model 2.0. ATI X800, Nvidia 6600 or better.
Smashing zombie-heads never gets old and, Left 4 Dead 2 wants you to shoot and slash your way through zombie hordes.
The narrative is simple. You and some other survivors need to reach from point A to B but, you are surrounded by zombies and, you have guns, I mean lots of guns. And if you ever run out of ammo, you can find a Katana or a chainsaw just lying around.
Gang Beasts
System requirements
- OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows® 7 32/64-bit / Vista 32/64 / XP.
- PROCESSOR:2nd generation Core i3, AMD A6, or higher
- RAM:4 GB
- Graphics Card: Nvidia 8800 GT, AMD 5670, Intel HD 3000 or better.
If you haven’t played Gang Beasts you don’t know how fun it is to throw someone off a moving truck or break the elevator cables while your opponent desperately begs for mercy. An average game of Gang Beasts is nothing short of complete chaos.
If you are playing with your friends you can expect some crazy moments that will make you laugh for days to come. These days Gang Beasts aren’t as popular as it once was, but I still revisit this game time and time again because of its unique and fun gameplay.

Call of Juarez Gunslinger
System requirements
- OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows® 7 (SP1)
- PROCESSOR: 3 GHz Intel® Core™2 Duo or 3 GHz AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 or better.
- RAM: 4 GB RAM.
- Graphics Card: 1024 MB DirectX 10–compliant or higher.
Call Of Juarez Gunslinger is a first-person shooter where you can slow down time. Sounds very familiar, doesn’t it? But it hardly matters because this game consistently keeps you entertained with its engaging story and gameplay and, I can assure you that you will play this game more than once.
You play as Silas Greaves, a witty and charming bounty hunter who has become a living legend, and in a saloon, he is narrating his encounters with some of the biggest outlaws of that age. Not everyone believes him and, you can’t blame them because Silas’ story has many unbelievable twists and, it’s filled with over the top action.
Boderlands 2
System requirements
- OS: Windows XP SP3.
- Processor: 2.4 GHz Dual Core Processor.
- RAM : 2 GB
- Graphics Card: NVidia GeForce 8500 / ATI Radeon HD 2600.
Borderlands 2 has everything from millions of guns to psycho killers who want to be burnt alive or shot in the head. And I am not exaggerating; there’s a quest where all you have to do is shoot someone right in the head. But this won’t surprise you much because by the time you will be ready to do this quest, you will have witnessed things crazier than this.
Set on Pandora, an alien planet, you and your team of vault hunters are on a mission to stop Handsome Jack, who is an absolute douchebag and wants to control everything on Pandora and since most of his plans involve having you killed in the most brutal way possible, you can’t go easy on him.
Deadpool Video Game
System requirements
- OS: Windows® XP / Windows Vista® / Windows® 7 / Windows® 8.
- Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 @ 2.66 GHz or AMD Phenom X3 8750 processor or better.
- RAM: 2GB
- Graphics Card: GeForce 8800 GT series with 512 MB RAM or ATI Radeon HD4850 with 512MB RAM or better.
Deadpool has his own video game and, he is very excited about it. He is so excited that 4th wall breaks are through the roof in this game. I know it sounds awesome, but it hurts when Deadpool starts yelling at you for not playing well.
The campaign is filled with memorable moments and playing just once isn’t enough. You begin with Deadpool’s iconic dual swords and pistols, and by the end of the game, you have lasers and giant hammers. Don’t act surprised. I told you that Deadpool’s quite excited about this game.
Resident Evil 6
System requirements
- OS: Windows® XP/ Windows Vista® /Windows® 7 / Windows® 8
- Processor: Intel® CoreTM2 Duo 2.4 Ghz or better AMD AthlonTM X2 2.8 Ghz or better
- RAM: 2GB
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6100 or better.
Resident Evil 6 isn’t as scary as the rest of the games in the series. Here zombies can aim and shoot, and you rarely run out of ammo; you can take cover, sprint, use melee weapons, and attack. In short, it’s a third-person shooter. But this doesn’t make this game any less interesting. And it’s a must-play if you are a fan of the main characters.
There are 4 campaigns to play in this game, and you have to play all of them to truly understand everything that’s happening. And since Chris and Leon go one on one in this game, you can’t skip it.
Spec Ops: The Line
System requirements
- OS: Windows XP SP3.
- Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2GHz / AMD Athlon 64 X2 Equivalent.
- RAM: 2GB
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 / ATI Radeon HD 2600XT.
On the surface, Spec Ops: The Line seems like another third-person shooter where you can shoot your way through countless enemies and come out victorious, but it’s not true. And this is the beauty of this game. It plays with your mind; you feel like you are in control but, the game has you right where it wants you to be – in front of your computer screen.
I know this makes no sense, but this is all that I can tell as I don’t want to spoil it for you.
Devil May Cry
System requirements
- OS:Windows Vista/XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.
- Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 Ghz or better, AMD Athlon 64 X2 2.8 Ghz or better.
- RAM: 2GB
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS or better, ATI Radeon HD 3850 or better.
Ninja Theory’s DMC reboot is probably one of the most hated reboots of all time. But even if you hate this version of Dante and Vergil, you can’t deny that this is a pretty good game. And now that the original Devil May Cry series is back, you can play this game without missing the original characters.
As this game won’t get a sequel, you don’t have to worry too much about the story. The only reason to play this game is its fluid combat system and great visuals. And for those of you who are looking for a challenging experience, Limbo has all sorts of enemies to keep you busy.
Darksiders II
System requirements
- OS:Windows Vista/XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.
- Processor: 2.0 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor or AMD equivalent.
- RAM: 2GB
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA 9800 GT 512 MB Video Card or AMD equivalent..
Darksiders II is a criminally underrated game like the other 2 games in this series. This game lacks nothing. It has a touching story, a powerful and interesting protagonist, loveable characters, a great combat system, and a gorgeous-looking open world.
Playing as Death, one of the four horsemen, you are on a deadly quest to restore humanity and clear War’s name. Events of this game basically take place before Darksiders so, playing it first won’t be a mistake.
Saints Row IV
System requirements
- OS:Windows Vista (x86 or x64)
- Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 | AMD Athlon II x3.
- RAM: 4 GB
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GTX 260 | AMD Radeon HD 5800 series.
An open-world game where you have superpowers, and you fight aliens and, there are flying bikes. It sounds childish, but who cares as long as it’s fun.
The campaign is as crazy as the gameplay. You have been kidnapped by Aliens and, they have trapped you in a simulation, and you have to break the simulation to come out and save Earth. And it won’t be easy because these Aliens will do everything required to keep you in control.
Prototype 2
System requirements
- OS:Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7.
- Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.6GHz, AMD Phenom X3 8750..
- RAM: 2 GB
- Graphics Card:NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT with 512 MB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 4850 with 512 MB RAM.
For once in a while, it feels good to be the toughest guy around and not always trying to keep yourself safe from everything that’s trying to kill you. And Prototype 2 knows exactly how to do this. Being James Heller, a mutated soldier, you can shapeshift, run fast, not as fast as flash but fast enough to outrun your enemies, glide through the air and consume people around you to regain lost health.
The game is full of violence, and by the end of the game, you are a complete badass who can destroy tanks, bring down military choppers, make spikes come out of the ground, and whatnot.
The main campaign is full of twists and turns, and the main boss is as powerful as you are. And the result is an epic showdown that you will never forget.
Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
System requirements
- OS: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7.
- Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz or AMD Athlon X2 2.7 GHz (a dual-core CPU is required)
- RAM: 2 GB
- Graphics Card: ATI Radeon 3870 or higher, Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT or higher
I don’t know how to describe Chivalry Medieval Warfare because when you start a match, a lot starts happening at the same time. Soldiers start screaming; you are being attacked by the enemies, and before you know, most of your teammates are dead and, if you aren’t good enough, you will probably be the first one to go.
There’s no campaign; it’s like a battle royal but with swords. But, if you start playing this game, it will be better that you begin with offline matches to get the hang of combat or, you can learn the hard way by playing online.
Every match in this game is full of chaos. You can either protect a village or attack it, complete some missions to ensure your victory, or participate in a deathmatch. And by the end of every match, you will be either laughing or screaming at your screen.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes
System requirements
- OS: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7.
- Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 EE 3800+ (2*2000 Mhz) or similar Intel CPU, such as Intel Pentium Dual-Core E2180 (2*2000 Mhz)
- RAM: 2 GB
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS or ATI Radeon X1950 Pro or better
Ever wondered what an open-world Avengers game would look like? Lego Marvel’s
Superheroes aren’t even close to what you might imagine but still, it’s fun in its own way.
Though the gameplay is very basic, a huge number of playable characters and an interesting campaign coupled with hilarious dialogues and character interactions provide a fun gameplay experience.
There’s nothing particularly interesting about Tushar Sharma. He is a simple guy who loves gaming, traveling, and messing with new gadgets. After completing his engineering, he started working as an app developer and whenever he finds time, he’s here, reviewing games and gadgets.

This is what I remember now. Some still have low-end pc because some can’t afford good pc for gaming or some family are against this. There is nothing to be ashamed of I too once had i3 old generation pc. But I purchased a gaming laptop once I got a good job. You will also be able to purchase a good pc once your time comes. The list I made is about games with a good story that I really enjoyed. some of these games are remastered recently so don’t get confused.
