Best Laptops Under 75000, For Gaming And Productivity

Published on:

Before we begin with the best laptops under 75000, let’s get an obligatory introduction out of the way.

A budget of 75000 INR can get you a laptop powerful enough for all your tasks; either you are a gamer, looking for powerful specs to run all the latest AAA video-game titles, or a professional, more concerned with laptop’s battery backup.

And there’s nothing to worry about as long as you know what you are looking for in your new laptop. This will help you in narrowing down the options, and you will be able to find the laptop that serves you the best in no time.

Gamers should look for laptops with powerful GPUs and efficient cooling systems. Upgradability is another important factor that you shouldn’t ignore because your new laptop will inevitably get outdated, and being able to add another stick of RAM or an extra SSD to keep your laptop functioning for a bit longer is great.

Looking for a lightweight laptop is the obvious thing to do if you plan to carry your laptop wherever you go. And long-lasting battery backup is equally important if you are always on the move.

Buying Guide: What to expect from a laptop under 75000

CPU

CPU

Laptops with all sorts of processors are available under 75000 INR. Gamers should look for laptops with intel’s powerful H-series processors. And go for intel’s U-series processors if you are ready to trade off performance for battery backup.

Gaming laptops come equipped with H-series processors, and similarly, business and productivity laptops come with U or G series processors.

Given below are some great processors to look for when you are buying a laptop under 75000.

i7 10750H

  • 6 cores and 12 threads
  • 2.6 GHz base frequency
  • 5 GHz max frequency

i5 10300H

  • 6 cores and 12 threads
  • 2.6 GHz base frequency
  • 5 GHz max frequency

i7 10510U

  • 4 cores and 8 threads
  • 1.8 GHz base frequency
  • 4.9 GHz max frequency

Display

Display

Gamers should look for laptops with a display having a refresh rate of more than 60Hz because it allows the display to make the best use of your laptop’s specs. And even when you are not playing video-games, a high refresh rate improves your experience with the laptop. With a budget of 75000, you can find laptops offering a display refresh rate as high as 144Hz.

Business and professional laptops might not come with high refresh rate displays, but they have their own perks. You can find many productivity laptops having displays with high color accuracy, which is very important if you are into video editing and photoshop.

You should pick a laptop having an anti-glare display if you often work in brightly lit areas or broad daylight. With this, you will be able to see more of what’s on the screen, and reflections won’t mess with your workflow. Most of the laptops come with a 250 nits display, which is enough for most of the users, but going for a 300 nits display is a wise move if you don’t want any troubles with screen brightness.

GPU

GPU

Nothing much to be worried about here. Most of the gaming laptops under 75000 come with a GTX 1650 GPU, and it isn’t surprising at all if you consider how powerful and budget-friendly this GPU is. And this graphics card can handly every AAA title with great ease, provided that you get yourself a laptop with an equally great CPU.

RAM

RAM

8GB RAM is quite popular among laptops in this price range. You will have to increase your budget if you want to go for 16GBs, but if it’s not possible, don’t hesitate while getting an 8 GB RAM laptop because, in most of the laptops, you can add an additional ram-stick or two whenever you want.

Storage

Storage

In 2023 there’s no point in getting an HDD storage based laptop. HDDs are slow, and they aren’t good for your laptop’s battery backup. You should either try getting a laptop with hybrid or all SSD based storage. If you are worried about less storage capacity, make sure you get a laptop with an empty slot for storage expansion, or if you find yourself out of options, you can try an external SSD for your storage needs.

Best Gaming Laptops Under 75000

Lenovo Legion 5i 82AU00PMIN

best gaming laptop under 75000 in india 2023
  • Screen Size – 15.6 Inches
  • Resolution – 1080p (Full HD)
  • Processor Type – i5-10300H
  • RAM Size – 8 GB
  • Hard Drive Size -1TB + 256GB SSD
  • GPU -GTX 1650 4GB
  • OS -Windows 10 Home
  • Item Weight – 2.3 kg
  • Warranty – One-year Warranty
  • Battery backup – 3-4 hours

Legion 5i delivers all that you can possibly expect from a gaming laptop in 2023. It has a stellar CPU-GPU duo, an efficient cooling system, 120Hz display and, I am sure that being a gamer, you will appreciate this high refresh rate because 60FPS is no longer the sweet spot for gaming.

i5 10300H is a powerful quad-core CPU having a clock speed of 2.50GHz.And there is no noticeable bottlenecking with the 4GB GTX 1650 GPU. This duo can handle almost every AAA title with great ease but, you will have to compromise with graphics a bit if you want your games to run at stable 60FPS.

This CPU-GPU combo works great while video editing, even at 4K. And if you are a content creator or plan to do something similar in the future, you know, this is the laptop you need to go for, and it fits right well in your budget.

I specifically love the keyboard of this laptop due to its white backlight. Now some might argue that RGB backlight would have been better, but at the end of the day, it’s all about personal preferences. And this white backlight goes quite well with the laptop’s overall design and theme.

And apart from looking good, the keyboard offers a great typing experience, something that you can’t find on every other laptop. The keys are slightly bigger, and it’s very useful if your work involves typing a lot because pressing two keys at once is a common problem with small keyboards, and it often gets very irritating.

Legion 5i can keep itself pretty cool even after playing games for hours. And it does so without any loud fan noises. You can hear the fans running, but it is acceptable. But saying that there are no heating issues will be a lie. The center of the keyboard gets warm after a few hours of gameplay but, the area around WASD keys stays relatively cool, so most of the time, you won’t even notice a change in the laptop temperature.

You get a 1TB HDD and a 256 GB SSD with this laptop, a great combination of storage capacity and speed.

8 GB ram of this laptop has a clock speed of 2933 MHz, and it’s quite impressive if you look at its competitors. And you can upgrade it to 16GBs to get a significant boost in performance.

You can find a 720p webcam at the top of the screen. It isn’t the best in this price range, but it is good enough for the online Zoom meetings and video calls, and most of the time, you will be thankful to have it.

While unplugged, the battery of Legion 5i can last for 4-5 hours during standard usage, but while gaming, you can expect 2-2.5 hours at max. Not a lot, but I don’t think we can argue as it is a gaming laptop, and long battery backup was never a thing of gaming laptops. However, you can use the laptop’s rapid charge system, giving you up to 50% battery in 30 minutes

Legion 5i looks sleek and professional, all due to its black body and minimalistic design, and it’s great if you want a break from those over the top looking gaming laptops. It’s definitely not as thin as some business laptops, but it’s lightweight and surprisingly easy to carry around.

It is built tough and looks and feels sturdy, but still, the screen flexes a little, and it is something that you will have to be careful with. And it has a 180° hinge; personally, I never found it very useful, but you might be able to make some use of it.

Connectivity options:

  • 4 USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports
  • 1 USB 3.2 Type – C Gen 1 port
  • Headphone/Mic combo jack
  • HDMI 2.0
  • Ethernet RJ45

Pros

  • 10th gen i5 processor
  • Sleey and styllish
  • 120Hz display

Cons

  • Short battery backup

Verdict

Legion 5i looks unique and works great. It has specs powerful enough to handle some of the most demanding games, and its minimalistic design just makes everything about this laptop a whole lot better.

ASUS TUF Gaming F15 FX566LH-BQ036T

best gaming laptop under 75000
  • Screen Size – 15.6 Inches
  • Resolution – 1080p (Full HD)
  • Processor Type – i7-10750H
  • RAM Size – 8 GB
  • Hard Drive Size -512GB NVMe SSD
  • GPU – GTX 1650  4GB
  • OS -Windows 10 Home
  • Item Weight – 2.3 kg
  • Warranty – One-year Warranty
  • Battery backup – 4-5 hours

ASUS TUF F15 costs slightly more than 75K, but it’s a small price to pay for a 10th gen i7 CPU and a battery backup of up to 5 hours while gaming.

i7 – 10750H, one of the most powerful laptop CPUs, has 6 cores, 12 threads, and a base clock speed of 2.6GHz. And this Hexa-cored CPU does a fine job while handling AAA games at 1080p with the help of GTX 1650 GPU.

But there’s something seriously wrong with the display of this laptop, and I am sure that you will agree with me on this one. The display has a refresh rate of 60Hz, and it’s a shame because the laptop’s hardware is powerful enough to give you more than 60FPS. And this is something that you can’t ignore if you are into competitive gaming.

Storage options are limited; a 512 GB SSD is all you get. Laptop speed and game load times will never be an issue, but you will run out of storage space soon, or maybe you won’t, depending on how you plan to use this laptop. And even if you ever find yourself struggling with storage capacity, you can use the empty 2.5 inches SATA slot to make an upgrade.

Audio output in TUF F15 is surprisingly great. And you find 8 dedicated audio modes on this laptop. You will have fun playing with these audio modes for a while, but soon you will either pick a favorite or maybe stop caring at all.

TUF F15 comes with a full-size keyboard, having a one-zone RGB backlight. WASD keys are highlighted, which looks very cool and suits the futuristic design of the keyboard and the laptop.

Armoury Crate is great, and it makes controlling the laptop’s important settings very convenient. With this one program, you can control everything from your keyboard’s backlight to its fan speed.

The Fortress Gray color highly compliments the tough build of this laptop. ASUS claims you can go stealthy with this laptop, but if you ask me, this laptop is a complete attention grabber, and it’s anything but stealthy.

Connectivity Options:

  • 2 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A ports
  • 1 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type – C
  • 1 USB 2.0 Type A
  • Headphone/Mic combo jack
  • HDMI 2.0b
  • Ethernet RJ45

Pros

  • 10th gen i7 processor
  • Impressive audio output
  • Great build quality

Cons

  • Only 512 GB SSD
  • 60Hz refresh rate

Verdict

There’s no denying that ASUS TUF F15 is a very impressive gaming laptop but still, a 60Hz refresh rate is unforgivable at this price range.

HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec1052AX

best gaming laptop under 75000 in india
  • Screen Size – 15.6 Inches
  • Resolution – 1080p (Full HD)
  • Processor Type – i5-9300H
  • RAM Size – 8 GB
  • Hard Drive Size -512 GB SSD
  • GPU – GTX 1650  4GB
  • OS -Windows 10 Home
  • Item Weight – 2.2 kg
  • Warranty – One-year Warranty
  • Battery backup – 3-4 hours

Even if you have a budget of 75000, having a look at a relatively cheaper option won’t hurt, and this is one of my favorite laptops on this list as it provides complete value to the money you spend on it.

If you are lucky, you can get this laptop for less than 65K, and it’s a great deal if you consider it’s specs. And don’t underestimate i5-9300H. It might not feel very enticing now that 10th gen laptop processors have become quite common. This quad-core processor has a base clock speed of 2.40GHz, and it’s still pretty decent for 1080p gaming.

Sadly, the screen is locked at 60Hz, but it seems reasonably fair, given the laptop’s price. Overall, the display is beautiful to look at, and it runs at 250nits, but the laptop’s weird design always makes the screen feel out of place.

The body is matte black, and I have mixed feelings about it. This makes the laptop feel professional, and it looks quite similar to HP’s productivity laptops. But you have to constantly try to keep it clean, as fingerprint smudges are easily visible on its surface.

Connectivity options:

  • 1 USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type C port
  • 3 USB 3.1 Type – A
  • 1 USB 2.0 Type A
  • Headphone/Mic combo jack
  • HDMI
  • Ethernet RJ45

Pros

  • GTX 1650
  • 9th gen i5 processor
  • Attractive price tag

Cons

  • Only 512 GB SSD
  • 60Hz refresh rate

Verdict

The competitive price of this HP Pavilion laptop can have anyone’s attention and, if you consider its specs, there’s no denying that it’s one of the best gaming laptops under 75000.

MSI Gaming GL65 9SCXK-076IN

best gaming laptop under 75000
  • Screen Size -15.6 Inches
  • Resolution – 1080p (Full HD)
  • Processor Type – i7-9750H
  • RAM Size – 8 GB
  • Hard Drive Size – 512GB NVMe SSD
  • GPU -Nvidia GTX 1650
  • OS – Windows 10 Home
  • Item Weight – 2.3Kg
  • Warranty – One-year Warranty
  • Battery backup – 2-3 hours

I know you are worried if you can actually get this laptop for less than 75000 INR. Well, you can, but not always. I have seen this laptop selling for as low as 65K during festive seasons and as high as 85K. And currently, at the time I am writing this article, it easily fits in the budget of 75000 INR.

This MSI gaming laptop comes with a very powerful 9th gen i7 processor and GTX 1650 for handling all the latest games that you want to play. This duo works great, and in some titles, it even matches the refresh rate of the display, which is 144 Hz. And this high refresh rate makes everything that you do on this laptop feel super smooth.

8GB RAM is expandable up to 64GBs, which is overkill if your work doesn’t involve opening hundreds of Chrome tabs at once.

The entire chassis of GL65 is built with plastic, and it is great at keeping the laptop cool. The entire cooling system consists of 2 fans, 7 heat pipes, and several vents. This basically means you don’t have to worry a lot about the heating issues with this laptop.

Connectivity options:

  • 1 USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type C port
  • 3 USB 3.1 Type – A
  • 1 USB 2.0 Type A
  • Headphone/Mic combo jack
  • HDMI
  • Ethernet RJ45

Pros

  • 9th gen i7 processor
  • 144Hz refresh rate
  • Impressive build quality

Cons

  • Average sound quality

Verdict

From powerful specs to great build quality, MSI GL 65 is equipped with everything that a gamer can ask for, and if you are lucky, you can get it for way less than 75K.

Business Laptops Under 75000

ASUS ZenBook 14

best laptop under 75000
  • Screen Size -14 Inches
  • Resolution – 1080p (Full HD)
  • Processor Type -i5-8265U
  • RAM Size – 8 GB
  • Hard Drive Size – 512GB NVMe SSD
  • GPU -Integrated Graphics
  • OS – Windows 10 Home
  • Item Weight -1.19 Kg
  • Warranty – One-year Warranty
  • Battery backup – 7-9 hours

ASUS ZenBook series redefined what it means to be a budget productivity laptop. This specific model costs around 70K, but if you think you can play with your budget a little, try going for the 11th gen i5 variant.

The 8th gen i5 processor of this ZenBook has 4 cores,8 threads, and a base clock speed of 1.6GHz, which is quite decent, considering it’s a productivity laptop. As it’s a U series processor, it goes very easy on the laptop’s battery. And while regular usage, you can expect a battery backup of up to 10 hours.

Carrying this laptop around is very easy. It weighs around 1.2 kg. It’s a 14inch laptop, and to be honest, I am not a huge fan of small-screen laptops, but thin side bezels make up for this small size, and a screen-to-body ratio of 92% is just awesome.

The display supports a 100% sRGB color gamut, a great relief if your work involves being precise with colors. You might face some difficulty while working in brightly lit areas as the display is glossy. But the display itself is pretty bright, and working on it is always a delight.

Typing on this laptop is equally delightful as the lid-hinge tilts the laptop at a comfortable angle. It’s a nice little implementation that highly improves your experience with the laptop. And the keyboard is backlit; the backlight’s brightness can be easily controlled with the touchpad, which itself is very unique and interesting to use. A single tap and it turns into a Numpad, and it’s very impressive because most of the compact laptops totally skip the Numpad.

You will find the webcam of the Zenbook very useful. It has great picture quality, and you can use it to unlock the laptop with face recognition. So, even if you don’t get a lot of video calls, you will be able to make some use of this camera.

Connectivity options:

  • 1 USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port
  • 1 USB 3.1 Type-A
  • 1 USB 2.0 Type-A
  • Micro SD card reader
  • 3.5mm headphone jack
  • HDMI

Pros

  • Lightweight
  • Great display with high color accuracy
  • Impressive battery backup
  • Unique Numpad

Cons

  • RAM can’t be upgraded

Verdict

ASUS ZenBook 14 is one of the best productivity laptops under 75000 due to its beautiful display, great build quality, and its sleek easy-to-carry-around design.

Dell Inspiron 5501 D560212WIN9S

best laptop under 75000 in india
Best laptops under 75000 for students
  • Screen Size -15.6 Inches
  • Resolution – 1080p (Full HD)
  • Processor Type -i5-1035G1 Processor
  • RAM Size – 8 GB
  • Hard Drive Size -512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD
  • GPU – MX330 2GB
  • OS – Windows 10 Home
  • Item Weight -1.7Kg
  • Warranty – One-year Warranty
  • Battery backup – 4-6 hours

Dell Inspirion 5501 is the perfect solution for those who want a lightweight and portable laptop but still don’t want to compromise with a small display. Even after housing a 15.6-inch display and a full-size keyboard, this beautiful laptop weighs around 1.7kg.

Inspirion’s display runs at 300 nits, which is very bright, and this level of brightness isn’t common in this price range. As it’s an anti-glare display, working outdoors won’t be an issue at all. And all of this is paired with a 72% NTSC color gamut to deliver an amazing viewing experience.

The 10th gen i5 variant that this laptop uses is very power efficient. But, as expected, it has a significant effect on the laptop’s performance. I must say, a base clock speed of 1.0 GHz isn’t very impressive in 2023 but, on a second note, this processor is good enough for basic multitasking, web-surfing, and content consumption.

Surprisingly you get a 2 GB MX 330 GPU with this laptop. You can’t expect to enjoy the modern video game titles with this GPU but, it can handle some casual gaming and light video editing.

This laptop allows you to upgrade both RAM and storage, and you can use this freedom for a quick and easy performance boost.

And there are many more tiny details that make Dell Inspiron a great laptop under 75000. The professional white design and build make you appreciate the laptop’s beauty every time you use it. The full-size keyboard is one of my favorites in this price range, and it also has a fingerprint scanner which, works just the way a fingerprint scanner should. It’s fast, and it makes unlocking the laptop very convenient.

Connectivity options:

  • 3 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports
  • Micro SD card reader
  • Headphone/mic combo jack
  • HDMI

Pros

  • Lightweight and stylish
  • 15.6-inch screen
  • Fingerprint sensor
  • Dedicated GPU
  • Good display

Cons

  • Lacks a powerful processor
  • Average battery backup

Verdict

Dell Inspirion 5501 is just a basic laptop with all the functionalities that you can expect from a laptop in 2023.

HP Pavilion x360 14-dh1180tu

best laptops under 75000
  • Screen Size -14 Inches
  • Resolution – 1080p (Full HD)
  • Processor Type – i7-10510U
  • RAM Size – 8 GB
  • Hard Drive Size -512GB SSD
  • GPU -Integrated
  • OS – Windows 10 Home
  • Item Weight -1.58Kg
  • Warranty – One-year Warranty
  • Battery backup – 5-6 hours

As evident from the name, HP Pavilion x360 comes with a 360° hinge, and interestingly, it is a touch-screen laptop. And to be honest, I still find touch screen laptops as something straight from the future. I mean, you don’t come across a touch screen laptop every day and, this touch screen interface not only looks cool but, it’s also very convenient to use, and once you get used to a touch screen laptop, switching back to a standard keyboard and mousepad seems very difficult.

You can easily get this specific model in your budget. And it’s a great deal, considering its specs. For 75K, you get 10th gen i7 processor, a quad-core processor having a clock speed of 1.8 GHz. This processor belongs to intel’s power-efficient U-series processors, which means it helps the laptop in delivering an impressive battery backup of up to 6 hours.

The 14-inch screen of this laptop is great but, only a 45% NTSC color gamut might be a deal-breaker for you if you can’t adjust with average color accuracy.

Pavilion x360’s biggest strength is its practical and unique design. The 360° hinge gives you all the freedom to use the laptop in a way that suits you the most. While in standard mode, Pavilion 360 can be used as a normal laptop, and you are still able to use the touch-screen to improve your workflow because simply taping on the required icon is quick and definitely more convenient than using the mousepad.

Tablet mode is also great if you want to focus entirely on the screen, something that you will find very useful when you are using a stylus. And it’s about time we talk about graphic designing because I know you are thinking about it. The lack of a dedicated GPU heavily affects this laptop’s potential when it comes to graphics and rendering work. But nothing is stopping you if you find intel HD graphics enough for your tasks.

And for some reason, not every model comes with a stylus. You might have to buy one separately. Just try to be sure of what you are going to get if you consider buying this laptop.

Speakers are placed right above the keyboard. This placement seems good while you are using the laptop in standard mode but, while using Tent and Tablet mode, speakers face away from you, and you see a significant drop in audio quality.

Connectivity options:

  • 1 USB 3.1 Type-C port
  • 2 USB 3.0 Type-A
  • Ethernet RJ45
  • Micro SD card reader
  • 3.5mm headphone jack
  • HDMI

Pros

  • Touch Screen
  • 10th gen i7 processor
  • Fingerprint sensor
  • Great build quality

Cons

  • No dedicated GPU
  • Average color accuracy
  • Sound quality could have been better

Verdict

HP Pavilion x360 is one of the best touchscreen laptops under 75000. And it’s a great deal if you are ready to adjust with some of its minor setbacks.

    • As you haven’t mentioned the exact model number, I am assuming that this is the laptop that you are referring to:
      HP Omen 15-en0001AX
This laptop is quite powerful when compared to the other laptops in this price range. The Ryzen 5 – 4600H is an amazing Hexa-core processor having a base clock speed of 3.0GHz.This laptop performs exceptionally well while gaming and the thermals are equally great but the 60Hz display refresh rate is pretty disappointing, considering the laptop’s price.
Overall, it’s a great laptop that you can grab under 75000!
