Panasonic TVs don’t get the attention that they deserve. And it’s quite sad because these TVs are complete value for money. Don’t believe me? Have a look at this TV.

This 40 inch Full HD smart TV costs less than 25K and during sales you might be able to grab it for less than 20K. The display is great and I  don’t think I have anything to complain about. Color accuracy and brightness are great due to Vivid Digital Pro, a feature that Panasonic seems to be very proud of.

Adaptive Backlight Dimming is something that I found quite interesting. This cool feature simply improves the image contrast ratio and provides a clearer picture by selectively controlling the display backlight.

This TV supports multiple HDR formats and it’s really convenient.

A 16 watts audio system is offered by this TV. There are no issues with audio clarity and I must say that it’s quite impressive. However, you can always go for external speakers if you want the best experience and it’s quite easy to do as this TV supports Bluetooth.

Connectivity options:

2 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports.

Pros

  • Budget-friendly
  • Full HD display
  • Android Smart TV

Cons

  • No Cons

Verdict

A highly recommended TV if you want to go for something simple and elegant that gets the job done at a reasonable price. No second thoughts here as this is the best LED TV in India in 40 inches category.

LG UQ7500 43 inch Ultra HD Smart LED TV

best 43 inch tv in india
  • Resolution – 1080p
  • RAM –  1.5 GB
  • Operating System – Web OS
  • Bluetooth Support – Yes
  • Refresh Rate -60 hertz
  • Weight – 8 Kg
  • Warranty – 1 Year

In the 43-inch segment, this TV is one of my top 3 picks. The natural color profile and contrast ratio of this TV are satisfactory in this price range. If compared with Samsung’s crystal TVs the picture quality of LG UQ7500 is better, the reason is the warm color profile of Samsung crystal TVs(I prefer natural colors).

Now the OS of this TV and Samsung Crystal TV take 5-6 seconds to boot up but the elements of Samsung TV can take more than 10 seconds to fully load. You do not get Dolby vision support in both the TVs and both come with a VA panel. The motion blur in this TV is less compared to Samsung Crystal TVs.

In Samsung Crystal TVs you do not get a headphone jack but this TV has one. You get voice assistant support in this TV which you do not get in Samsung crystal TVs(but you get voice assistant support in Samsung crystal pro TVs).

Now if you are looking for the best 43 inch TV in India then I recommend Sony Bravia. The Sony Bravia TV is better than both the TVs.It supports Dolby Vision and even the halo effect is less as compared to Samsung crystal and LG TV. The IPS display of the Sony Bravia TV and the picture quality makes it the best buy in 43 inch category.

Connectivity options:

3 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports

Pros

  • Headphone jack port
  • Natural color profile
  • Voice assistant support

Cons

  • Thick bezels

Verdict

If you are looking for a 43-inch tv then my top picks are Sony Bravia 2022, Samsung Crystal TV, and LG TV. You can go for any of these and you will not be disappointed with your purchase.

 LG UQ7500 43 inch TV

Sony Bravia 2022 IPS display Ultra HD LED TV

 Samsung Crystal 43 inch

Samsung Crystal Pro 43 inch

Hisense 4K UHD LED Smart TV

Best 43 inch tv
  • Resolution – 2160p, 4K
  • RAM – 2 GB
  • Operating System – Google TV OS
  • Bluetooth Support -Yes
  • Refresh Rate-60 hertz
  • Weight-7.4kg
  • Warranty -1 year Manufacturer Warranty

Even though the price of this TV is slightly more than 30,000, the features of this TV justify its price. It’s a google TV that comes with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support. The picture of this TV is satisfactory at this price point. It is a VA panel TV that comes with a peak brightness of 350 nits. The halo effect of this TV is very controlled.

Google TVs boot up faster compared to android TVs and this TV provides a lag-free experience. The OS of this TV takes 8.7 GBs of storage space and 7.3 GB of space is available for use. The remote finder is a pretty unique feature. To find your remote you have to press and hold the power button and you have to look for the remote finder option in the menu, After clicking that option your remote will produce a beep sound until you find the remote.

The bezels of this TV are thin and Hisense markets this TV as a floating glass display, the display pops out a bit from the back bezels which looks kind of cool that’s a floating glass display. Unlike most TVs, this TV comes with a metal and polycarbonate body.

In this budget, this is the best TV you can get for gaming. It comes with VRR, MEMC, and ALLM support. The response time of this TV is 9.4 ms , not bad in this price range. This does not have any Gsync or Freesync so you might face issues like screen tearing and stuttering while gaming.

This TV provides a hands-free experience which basically you can give any command to your Google assistant from far and it will perform any task for you. You just have to say OK google and give a command. It even Turn-off and Turn-on your TV.

Pros

  • Thin Bezels
  • VRR and ALLM
  • Remote control finder

Cons

  • No Freesync or Gsync

Verdict

It’s a good budget TV for gamers and it’s kind of a rounder at this price and my top pick no 3 for the best TV in India under 30000 but if possible go for an LG 7500 or Samsung crystal TV.

TCL 108 cm (43 inches) 4K Smart LED TV

best 43 inch smart tv in india 2024

  • Operating System -Certified Android
  • Bluetooth Support – Yes

    from date of purchase

This TV too, is a 4K TV and the display quality isn’t phenomenal but adequate at this price range. This TV comes with HDR 10 Pro which perfectly handles various dark and light shades. It’s an A+ grade panel and viewing angles are satisfactory.

Due to the 4 exceptional microphone receivers present in this TV every smart feature feels more accessible and you won’t have to repeat your every command.

The 30 watts audio system of this TV comprises of two 15 watt speakers which have great output and the Dolby Audio support makes everything better.

Now, the reason why this TV is on the list when Sanyo offers everything the same. This TV comes with Alexa support and if you, just in case, have Alexa in your home then you can connect this TV to her. You know the rest.

Connectivity options:

3 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports.

Pros

  • Doesn’t cost a fortune.

  • 4K resolution

Cons

  • Average Sound quality

Verdict

A great budget friendly option if you want a 4K TV without spending too much.

Sony Bravia 108 cm(43 Inches) 4K UHD Smart TV

best 43 led tv in india
  • Resolution – 4K
  • RAM –
  • Operating System -Certified Android
  • Bluetooth Support – Yes/No
  • Refresh Rate -50 hertz
  • Weight – 9.6kg
  • Warranty – 1-year warranty provided by the manufacturer
    from date of purchase

Get ready guys, things are going to get expensive now. But the question is, “Is this TV good?”, Yes.
This TV by Sony sets the bar in terms of display quality. Many TVs offer 4K UHD resolution but this TV has a display quality which can beat any competition.

Let’s begin with the fact that this TV comes with a Tri-Luminous display and what it does is that it keeps each and every shade of colour as bright as possible while making sure that it doesn’t end up being oversaturated and gives the scene a natural look. And technologies like 4K X-Reality Pro and 4K HDR act as icing on the cake.

Another good feature of this TV is Motion Flow XR. This feature inserts extra frames between two original ones. And the benefit is- smoother viewing experience.
Coming to the OS, it’s an Android-based OS. So, you won’t be having any complaints about the operating system of this TV.

Now, you might feel that I am exaggerating but, the fact is that even the audio quality of this TV is perfect. It’s a 20 watts audio system but, the speakers being bass-reflex speakers, highly improve the audio quality of this TV and the best part is that like many other Sony TVs, Clear Audio+ has been implemented on this TV.

The remote of this TV deserves being mentioned. You know the hassle that we all face by keeping separate remotes for DTH and TV. But the remote of this TV allows you to control both.

Connectivity options:
3 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports.

Pros

  • Best display in this category.
  • Good sound quality.
  • A TV with a great remote.
  • Certified Android TV

Cons

  • Expensive

Verdict

A very expensive TV but you all know that you have to pay more if you want to go for the best.

When I was compiling this list I was sure that I wasn’t going to put any MI TVs on this list. Because some of the most selling versions of MI TVs lacked basic functionality that every smart TV should have. But now, here it is and believe me, this TV is a complete package at a very sweet price.

This TV comes with 4K HDR 10 display. And I can assure you that this display is the best at this price range. It’s an Android TV with Android 9.0. Many TVs by MI lacked Amazon Prime and Netflix support but this TV is fully equipped with these applications and several apps waiting to be downloaded from Play store!

Another great feature of this TV is PatchWall. This framework allows you to access all the trending shows from a number of apps in one place.

Connectivity options:
3 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports.

LG OLED55B8PTA 139 cm(55 Inches) 4K OLED TV

best 55 inch led tv
  • Resolution – 4K
  • RAM –
  • Operating System – web OS
  • Bluetooth Support – Yes
  • Refresh Rate –
  • Weight – 18.9 kg
  • Warranty – 1-year warranty on TV +
    1-year additional warranty on Panel

LG OLED TVs are considered to be one of the most elite range of TVs. OLED TVs are the flagship TVs by LG, and these TVs have set a bar when it comes to picture quality. I will be telling you what OLED TVs are in detail in the buying guide given below but until then all that you need to know is that the OLED TVs are the best at producing the darkest blacks and the most vivid range of colours.

Let’s begin with the display. And as I have said before, the display quality of a TV doesn’t get better than this. This TV can produce the most extensive range of colours with maximum accuracy and that too at 4K resolution.

Coming to the sound quality. This TV comes with a 40 watts sound system with Dolby Atmos. What Dolby Atmos does is that it gives you 360 degrees of hearing experience. And believe me, it might not sound much big of a deal, but when you will experience it you will be blown away!

It’s a smart TV of and in case you haven’t noticed, this TV has a refresh rate of 120 hertz. And this high refresh rate is going to give you a very smooth experience on this TV.This TV is based on LG’s WebOS, and it works great as I have told you before. It comes pre-installed with almost all the applications that you may need in a TV.

Enough with appreciating this TV, now let’s talk about a significant problem! The biggest perk of this TV is that it’s an OLED TV and the strange thing is that this perk can prove to be its biggest demerit. OLED TVs have a problem called screen burn-in. And what happens during a screen burn-in is that a part of an image is retained permanently on the TV if a static image is left on the TV for a long time. And by a long time I mean 12-14 hours and I am pretty sure that you are not going to sit in front of a TV screen for that long. And if for some reasons, you are going to do that, then you must be aware of this problem. But if you are going to watch this TV for 5-7 hours a day, then you have nothing to worry about.

Connectivity options:
4 HDMI ports and 3 USB ports.

65 inches variant of this TV is also avialable.

Pros

  • Best display.
  • Awesome sound quality
  • 120-hertz refresh rate.

Cons

  • Expensive

Verdict

Best TV in India with an OLED display.

Samsung Serif 138 cm(55 Inches) 4K QLED Smart TV

best 55 inch led tv in india
  • Resolution – 4K
  • RAM –
  • Operating System – Tizen
  • Bluetooth Support – Yes
  • Refresh Rate – 120 hertz
  • Weight – 26.5 kg
  • Warranty – 1-year warranty on TV +
    1-year additional warranty on Panel

Samsung The Serif TV is interesting and unique. It has a gorgeous looking minimalisitc design and it can attract all the attention in the room. And this makes this TV a must for your living room if you take home decor seriously.

You can’t mount this TV on a wall and it’s quite understandable because hiding a part of its flawless design is nothing short of a crime. But the metal stand (a part of its glory), allows you to move it whenever you want (but be careful it’s quite heavy). And you can also detach the stand to place it on a table.

Image quality is hardly a question here as this TV offers you a 4K QLED display. From impressive colour accuracy to perfect viewing angles, this TV allows you to view every image at its best. And you also get HDR 10+ support for highly detailed images.

As Samsung wants this TV to be a cornerstone of your home decor, they don’t want you to turn it off when you stop watching your favourite shows. You can either set some nature inspired patterns on the screen or you can use the Ambient Mode for more options.

The Serif has tons of cool features and some of them are very useful. You can use Multi View to view your TV’s and smartphone’s screen at the same time. And sharing your phone’s screen is easier than ever, just a simple tap is all you need.

If you are confused between QLED and OLED then here are some tips for you:

1.QLED TVs have more life span than OLED TVs.
2. Level of detail is higher in OLED TVs.
3. If you are planning to install the TV in a room which has windows and a considerable amount of sunlight then you should go for a QLED TV as they are far better than the OLED TVs when it comes to screen brightness.

Connectivity options:
4 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports.

Pros

  • Top class display
  • Perfect sound quality
  • Innovative design

Cons

  • Expensive
  • Can’t be mounted on a wall

Verdict

Samsung The Serif tries to be more than a TV, and with its minimalistic and practical design, it does so with great ease.

Samsung QA55Q60 (55 Inches) 4K QLED Smart TV

Best smart tv
  • Resolution – 4K
  • RAM -2.5 GB
  • Operating System – Tizen
  • Bluetooth Support – Yes
  • Refresh Rate – 120 hertz
  • Weight – 18.6 Kg
  • Warranty – 1-year warranty on TV +
    1-year additional warranty on Panel

Another Samsung TV. The reason why this TV has banked the 3rd spot in 55 inches category is its price. A QLED TV that costs less than 90K can attract anyone’s attention.
Don’t expect the picture quality to be as good as premium QLED TVs by Samsung as it is a base variant in QLED TVs. But even then, this TV beats almost every standard 4K display on the market. And to be honest, this TV is going to get all the attention in your room.
20 watts sound system will be provided to you with this TV. And as you might have guessed, this is the only part of the TV which has a plenty of room for improvement. But Bluetooth is there for your aid, and you can connect additional speakers if you want.
Another highlight of this TV is Intelligent Mode. This mode helps your TV to adjust the picture brightness and sound of the TV according to your room and the type of content you are watching.
Connectivity options:
4 HDMI ports and 2 USB ports.

Pros

  • QLED display
  • Reasonable price

Cons

  • Sound could have been better.

Verdict

For a budget under 1 lakh this TV is the best.

OnePlus Q1 pro 4K QLED Android TV

best 55 inch led tv 2024
  • Resolution – 4K
  • RAM – 3 GB
  • Operating System – Android 9.0
  • Bluetooth Support – Yes
  • Refresh Rate – 60 hertz
  • Weight – 22.2 Kg
  • Warranty – 1 Year Warranty on TV for malfunction arising
    from manufacturing defects

OnePlus TV was able to build up so much hype when it came out, and it did live up to our expectations.

The words which I will use for this TV are – the all-rounder. It’s an Android TV with a 4K QLED display and a 50 watts sound system with a sliding soundbar. OnePlus aimed for perfection, and they almost managed to reach it.

The only thing which I disliked about this TV is its oversaturated display. But after playing a bit with the colour settings, I found the display more suited to my preferences. Two more things that disappointed me were its viewing angles and lack of 60 FPS and HDR support on YouTube.

Apart from this, the best thing about his TV is its design. It is one of the best-looking TVs out there on the market.

Connectivity options:
4 HDMI ports and 3 USB ports.

Pros

  • QLED display
  • Great design.
  • Best sound quality.

Cons

  • Average viewing angles

Verdict

A great TV by OnePlus but there is some room for improvement in terms of display quality.

One of the most expensive TVs out there in the market. But trust me, sometimes money can buy happiness. This TV was designed by Samsung to be the best among the best. A TV with a display so gorgeous that you would sit a whole day admiring its beauty.

This TV takes Samsung’s signature QLED technology to a whole new level. And who needs to go to a theatre when you have a screen size of 65 inches. It comes with a 4K resolution, HDR 10+, and 120-hertz refresh rate, which you truly deserve if you are paying more than 200k for a TV.

It is easy to find a TV with a good display and sound, but sometimes that is not enough and definitely not if you are paying such a massive amount for a TV. So, this TV has gone the extra mile to give you the best user experience possible. The ambient mode of this TV is an elegant feature and helps you in making the best use of this gigantic TV. You can set an interactive background that matches your surroundings or just play some music, and that too controlled by voice or your smartphone.

Buying Guide (All That You Need To Know)

Ideal Screen Size.

Screen size is the most essential factor that one considers when buying a new TV. But you might be surprised to know that the biggest TV doesn’t need to always be the best for you. Ideal screen size for a viewer is decided by two major factors:

  • The distance from which you will mostly be watching this TV.
  • Resolution of TV

Let’s discuss each in detail now.

Viewing distance

Knowing the ideal viewing distance is the most essential part of buying a TV. For example, if you are purchasing a 55 inches TV but the size of your room is too small for optimal viewing distance, then this 55 inches TV will be of no good to you. Given below is a table that tells you the ideal viewing distance for different TV sizes. Have a look at the table and see which TV size is the most appropriate for you.

Ideal Viewing Distance
32 inches4 to 6 feet
40-43 inches5.2 to 8.75 feet
49-50 inches6 to 10 feet
55 inches7 to 11.5 feet
65 inches or above8 to 14 feet

Resolution

If you are being flattered by 4K resolutions offered by some high-end TVs, then you need to know that this 4K resolution might be useless to you.
If you are going to spend most of the time on your TV watching content through a DTH service, then you need to know that DTH offers only 720p and 1080p resolutions; on the other hand, 4K resolution operates on 3160p. So, if the primary source of content that you are going to watch is from a DTH service, then you don’t need to spend more on 4K TVs.
But if you are going to be using online streaming services like Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime, etc then, a 4K resolution TV will be reasonably useful to you.

Display

The most visible difference between different TVs is their display quality. In this section I will be taking you through various display technologies and help you identify which is the most appropriate for you.

Key Parameters covered in this section

  • Display type
  • Resolution
  • Refresh rate
  • Contrast ratio
  • HDR

Display type

The most popular display types are LED, OLED, and QLED. Let’s see each type in detail now.

  • LED TVs
led tvs

It won’t be wrong to say that LED TVs are the greatest of all time. The picture quality that LED TVs can produce can blow minds away. And the best part is that LED TVs are the best when it comes to being budget-friendly. LED TVs offer all the major resolutions. They are thin, sleek, and have great viewing angles if you buy an LED TV with an IPS display. In short, if you are on a budget, then going for an LED TV is as good as it can be. Just make sure that you buy a TV with the appropriate size and resolution for you.

  • OLED TVs
oled tvs

OLED TVs are the most premium range of TVs. OLED TVs use millions of individually- lit pixels to produce more explicit images with maximum colour accuracy.

The display quality of these TVs is the best due to the following reasons:

  • A higher level of detail in a picture.
  • Perfect blacks.
  • Infinite contrast ratio
  • Great viewing angles
  • Blur free pictures.

All these reasons make the OLED TVs the best option to go for when it comes to the display quality. But the thing is that they are really expensive. And if you are not concerned about the price then go for an OLED TV without hesitation, and that display quality will take away all your pains 🙂

  • QLED TVs
qled

QLED TVs are the rivals of OLED TVs. And deciding between OLED and QLED can totally confuse some people. But don’t worry, I will try to keep things simple here. QLED TVs use quantum dots that can produce red, green, and blue light themselves. Here are the perks of a QLED TV:

  • A vast range of colours.
  • Brightest displays in the market.
  • Great viewing angles.

Now, which should you buy- QLED or OLED? Well, I covered this topic earlier in this article in the 55 inches TVs category. Here is a summary of it:

  • OLED TVs have a higher level of detail.
  • OLED TVs have a higher contrast ratio.
  • OLED TVs are best viewed in the dark, and in well-lit rooms, you might want the screen to be brighter.
  • QLED TVs are the best when it comes to screen brightness. So, for a well-lit room with windows- you should go for a QLED TV
  • Viewing angles are better in QLED TVs.
  • And if you are going to connect your console with the TV. Then it would be best if you preferred QLED TVs because OLED TVs have a risk of screen burn-in

Here’s a video from YouTube showing the difference between the display quality of an OLED and a QLED TV

Resolution Types

Higher-resolution always means better picture quality. Resolution is just the number of pixels across the screen. Three resolutions are available in TVs these days.

  • HD Ready 720p
  • Full HD 1080p
  • 4K UHD 2160p

I have already told you to be careful about which resolution is the best for you earlier in the buying guide. Another important thing that you can consider is what you are upgrading from. If you are going to upgrade from a CRT TV, then a 720p TV will also be great for you but if you already have a 1080p TV then consider nothing less than a 4K TV.

Refresh Rate

The refresh rate is simply the number of times an image is changed on a TV screen per second. It is measured in hertz or FPS, frames per second.

This might not sound something essential, but it can totally change your experience on a TV. A refresh rate of 60 hertz is commonly offered by most of the TVs, and it is not bad at all. Still, some higher-end TVs provide a refresh rate of up to 120 hertz, and once a person gets used to this higher refresh rate, it becomes difficult for him to enjoy a 60-hertz display.

Here are some benefits of higher refresh rate:

  • Reduced motion blur-Motion blur makes the images look softer and loose level of detail when in motion, but a TV with a higher refresh rate can quickly solve this problem
  • Smoother interface- The interface of a TV with a higher refresh rate will always feel way more fluid than a standard TV.
  • Great for fast-paced content like gaming, sports and action movies.

Here is an image showing the difference between two different refresh rates. The picture on the left was captured at a low frame rate, and the one on the right was taken at a higher frame rate. And the difference is fairly visible.

Contrast ratio

Contrast ratio signifies the ratio between the darkest black and the brightest white a TV can produce. And a TV with a high contrast ratio will also have a high picture quality.TVs with a high contrast ratio can produce absolute blacks and purest whites; this makes them ideal for viewing a picture with high levels of detail. On the other hand, the low contrast ratio can make blacks grey and highly compromise with picture detail levels.

But there is one more catch. Contrast ratios are of two types, dynamic and native.

  • Dynamic contrast ratio- This type of contrast ratio is measured by taking the maximum and minimum light the back-light panel of an LED TV can produce.
  • Native contrast ratio- Native contrast ratio is directly measured from the LEDs in a TV.

Native contrast ratio is better from dynamic contrast ratio as LEDs of a TV with a native contrast ratio can turn off individually and this helps them to produce darkest blacks in a scene. This is also the working of an OLED TV, and they have infinite contrast ratio.

So, simply put- higher contrast ratio = better picture quality. Here is a picture which clearly shows the difference.

HDR

HDR, High dynamic range is a new technology which helps in producing more vivid and natural colours in a scene. There are two standards of HDR, HDR10, also known as HDR pro and Dolby Vision. TVs with these certifications always have better display quality than the rest of the TVs.

To truly enjoy HDR, you need to have access to HDR-enabled content, and the thing is that no DTH service provider in India provides HDR supported content. However, apps like Amazon Prime and Netflix do provide HDR-enabled content, and even some consoles like PS4 Pro and Xbox One X have HDR support.

Connectivity

Connectivity refers to the ports that a TV offers. TV ports can broadly be classified into two categories:

  • Input ports
  • Output ports

Let’s cover these two in detail

Input ports

  • HDMI- HDMI ports are the most important ports. The number of HDMI ports that you will need in a TV depends on the number of devices that you will be connecting to it. Popular devices which support HDMI format are HD set-top box, game consoles, Laptops, Fire TV stick, Blue-ray players etc.
  • USB – USB ports can help you in transferring audio and video files from your different devices to your TV. You can connect devices like pen drive, internet dongle, smartphone, hard drive etc. to a USB port.
  • RCA – This type of port is used to connect standard-definition set-top boxes, and even some old DVD players use this port.
  • Bluetooth- Bluetooth needs no explanation. It can help you connect many devices wirelessly like Bluetooth speakers, headphones and even your smartphone.

Output ports

  • 3.5mm audio jack- Perhaps the most popular output port when it comes to sound. It helps you to connect various devices like headphones, soundbar etc. with so much ease.
  •  RCA- RCA pot can also help you to connect a home theatre to your TV.

Sound

Talking about sound is easy. Sound is measured mostly in watts when it comes to TVs. And a sound system with more watts will easily produce a louder and clearer sound.

But the problem is that TVs are now becoming thin and for making a TV thin manufacturers compromise with the audio quality of a TV and for that it is always a good option to connect external speakers to a TV. However, in a small room, installing extra speakers will be more of an overkill.

Smart TV

Smart TVs always have the edge over standard TVs. A smart TV can connect to the internet, and we all know what a person can do once he is connected to the internet. Here are the key aspects that you need to consider when it comes to smart TVs:

  • Operating System
  • RAM and Storage

Operating System

  1. Operating System determines the type of user interface that you will experience in a TV. Operating systems are broadly of three types:
  •  Certified Android
  • Android-based
  • TVs with their own OS
  1. Certified Android:  TVs with a certified Android OS are true smart TVs. They come with many preinstalled applications and access to Play Store. The best part is that you get regular updates in a Certified Android TV.
  2.   Android Based: Many companies use the Android framework and make some changes to it, this type of OS is known as Android Based OS. Such TVs are not as versatile as certified Android TVs. And the number of applications is also limited.
  3. TVs with their own OS: Companies like LG and Samsung have their own operating systems. These TVs come with preinstalled applications, and in most cases, you can’t download any external apps.

So the thing is, make sure that the TV you are buying has all the applications that you need.

RAM and Storage

RAM and storage decide how seamless your experience will be on a TV.

  • More RAM means smoother and lag-free experience, and in most of the cases 2-3 GBs of RAM is sufficient.
  • The number of applications and media files you can store depends on the TV’s storage and 8GBs is considered more than enough for TVs

    • Having seen, both Nokia and Toshiba work side-by-side, I can confirm that they both have comparable picture qualities. While Nokia produces bright colors, Toshiba’s color gamut feels more natural. I find Toshiba’s picture quality to be slightly better than Nokia but it’s more of a personal preference.
Audio of both the TVs is loud enough but Nokia has more clarity.
I recommend you to go for Nokia, as it’s an Android TV and it supports a wide range of applications. Nokia also has more internal storage than Toshiba.
